The awesome power of Human Growth Hormone - HGH

Posted by Anabolic Steroids on October 3, 2021 at 7:15 PM

HGH is the most powerful natural anabolic hormone in our body, second only to testosterone.

What makes it so anabolic? This is because Growth Hormone stimulates protein synthesis which means it enhances muscle mass growth. It does this by attaching itself to receptors on the cells membrane and starts sending signals throughout the cell that proliferate (cell division), differentiating (to make more specialized), enlarge (cell growth) and repair damaged cells. Once these effects are done, HGH then stimulates somatomedins, also known as insulin-like growth factors 1 &3 (IGF-1 & IGF-3). These two compounds act like a nutrient shuttles, taking amino acids directly to the muscle cell where they can be used to make protein.

HGH has a direct effect on the central nervous system, influencing cellular function and fostering anabolic activity in cells throughout the whole body. Growth Hormone stimulates the formation of cartilage, bones and connective tissue, causing growth in length and thickness in long bones as well as thickening of cartilage. Fat mobilization is increased while carbohydrates are better utilized for energy. The liver's ability to metabolize glucose is significantly enhanced by Growth Hormone resulting in a decrease in plasma glucose levels after eating with corresponding increases in insulin levels.

There have been 55 clinical studies performed with recombinant DNA origin HGH up until 1997! These studies were successfully completed with no report of any adverse side effects at therapeutic doses. With that being said, the medical community has been prescribing HGH for over 40 years now and it's a very safe drug to take!

Athletes have also been using recombinant DNA origin growth hormone on a very wide scale since the 1980s and there is not one recorded case of an athlete failing a drug test due to exogenous Growth Hormone use. It is simply impossible as exogenous Growth Hormone does not metabolize into Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) or Nandrolone as testosterone does. These are the metabolites that trigger the "positive" in a urine sample.

Another factor that can't be forgotten is that Growth hormone seems to have some type of protective nature against disease. There have been several studies done with HIV patients showing that Growth Hormone can slow down the progression of the disease while simultaneously increasing muscle mass, decreasing body fat and improving immune function. It also helps prevent osteoporosis, heart failure and increases longevity in healthy individuals.

The benefits of exogenous GH supplementation are many! Something very unique about Growth Hormone is that it has "Somatomedin-C" which is actually insulin like factor 3 (IGF-3), scientists believe that IGF-1 is really what is responsible for most if not all anabolic activity in the human body! IGF-1 binds to specific receptors inside our cells called "IGF binding proteins" (IGFBPs) when these come into contact with IGF-1, they tend to release the IGF-1 from the receptor so it may freely circulate. This can have a negative effect if there are anti-IGF binding proteins present in the bloodstream because this would prevent free circulating IGF-1 from exerting its muscle cell anabolic activity! GH administration actually reduces plasma levels of these anti-IGF binding proteins allowing for maximum action from serum IGF-1! Another way that this is beneficial is that Growth Hormone also increases Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein - 3 (IGFBP3) which binds very strongly to IGF-1 and protects it while carrying it through the bloodstream to muscles and other tissues throughout your body.

All exogenous supplementation of GH must be done with caution and with a doctor's supervision. Although it is not as dangerous as an AAS (Anabolic Androgenic Steroid), all the side effects of high GH levels will still be present, especially if you're genetically predisposed to them! It would also be unwise to take both HGH and insulin because there have been cases where death has occurred from such combinations.

As always, using these types of substances can be very beneficial for athletic performance but we must use caution and only work with what we know is safe and effective. Growth hormone supplementation is nothing new in sports so let's keep it real: There are no shortcuts!

One of the main reasons athletes and bodybuilders supplement with Growth Hormone is because it very effectively burns fat and increases muscle mass! A study on elderly men showed that 20-30 Units Of GH, done twice per week increased lean muscle mass by 2 pounds while at the same time decreasing their percentage of body fat by 7 pounds! This type of increase in muscle along with a decrease in body fat can be very beneficial for athletic performance especially when dieting down to achieve a low level of body fat.

There have been several studies done during which healthy individuals were administered Human Growth Hormone and they gained an average of 3 pounds of lean muscle mass per month without experiencing any side effects such as water retention or fat gain. As mentioned above, this increase in muscle mass will be beneficial for those athletes and bodybuilders dieting to achieve a lower percentage of body fat because they can simply hold more lean muscle mass without gaining any unwanted body fat or water retention.

Certain amino acids such as arginine and lysine have been shown to elevate Growth Hormone levels due to their ability to stimulate the release of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormones (GHRH). GHRHs are released from the hypothalamus gland which controls all GH secretions! This is probably one of the best kept secrets in athletics regarding performance enhancement, there's no telling how much faster your muscles would grow if you could just double your natural GH production!

Although GH itself will not build muscle on it's own, there is a definite correlation between growth hormone release and insulin. Once the growth receptors within the muscle cells are triggered by IGF-1, Growth Hormone is then released to help control blood insulin levels. Higher levels of Growth Hormone promote increased activity in an enzyme called glucose transporters which helps bring more carbs into your muscles as well as glycolysis or "glucose breakdown"! This would definitely aid those athletes who need to increase glycogen storage for endurance events such as cross-country skiing or cycling as well as those bodybuilders desiring more fullness due to hydration of the muscles!

Now that we have gone over all of these benefits let's take a look at who can benefit most from this amazing substance! Obviously those athletes requiring additional strength will see the greatest benefits but don't be fooled, GH is definitely not just for "bulking up"! This compound has been shown to aid in fat loss as well so if your dieting down and losing some muscle tone along with that unwanted body fat then Growth Hormone may be just what the doctor ordered! One thing you'll find is that its effects are more pronounced when used during cutting cycles rather than bulking.

If you're an athlete training at high intensity such as sprinting or interval training then Growth Hormone is definitely something you should consider supplementing with because of it's ability to increase blood glucose (energy) levels which would definitely aid in your training and mental focus. The higher the intensity of your workout, the greater GH release which can lead to increased performance by increasing lactic acid used as fuel rather than glycogen.

Bodybuilders and athletes looking to achieve a very low level of body fat may also benefit from Growth Hormone because it increases muscle mass without water retention, this would allow someone trying to achieve that ultra-lean look to hold more lean tissue without having that bloated or "puffy" look that all too often is associated with using steroids such as Testosterone and Dianabol. This lack of water retention gives the muscles much more definition and vascularity!

GH kicks up your metabolism and increases blood flow, both good for those who want an increased fat burning effect and for those trying to build more muscle. GH stimulates the metabolism of both visceral and subcutaneous fat

Finally, it should also be noted that Human Growth Hormone can decrease your appetite in a large way by increasing satiety or "fullness" making it easier for you to eat less calories which is a definite benefit when cutting towards lower body fat percentages!
